Terms and Conditions
These are the Simply Skydive terms and conditions.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE BOOKING FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON WHAT SO EVER.
All prices quoted are fixed at time of booking. Last minute cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of $275.00 registration fee. Please note that prepaid (discounted bookings) are not refundable.
Australian Parachute Federation Fee
All tandem passengers are required to pay a $33 fee, comprising a public liability insurance fee and an Australian Parachute Federation (APF) licence fee collected on the day of the jump. This fee is compulsory.
How long will my skydive take?
All bookings are given an arrival time only. Please note that this is not a jump time, as paperwork, briefing & gear up need to be completed. We advise you to arrive with no time constraints. You should plan for this to be a full day’s activity. We welcome family and friends to watch, please inform them to allow a full day.
Safety is our main concern
Please understand that factors such as wind, cloud, rain, thermal turbulence & other factors such as air traffic can affect the time it takes to complete your group’s Skydive activity. Weather can change for better or worse in minutes, and you can’t skydive unless you’re at the drop zone, so plan for delays. As aircraft are mechanical & periodically become unavailable, we reserve the right to change aircraft type without notice. On occasion, these aircraft changes, & Air Traffic Control (ATC), or the weather may require us to change our required altitude, and number of tandems in the aircraft. Depending on the conditions on the day, the plane will climb to an altitude of between 10,000 -14,000 feet (High Altitude) 6,000 - 7,000 feet “SOARE” (Low altitude).
What to wear?
Wear comfortable loose clothing as you would normally dress for the weather on the day. Also wear sensible sports shoes, sandshoes, runners etc. Glasses and contacts are also OK, just let your Instructor know and they will give you goggles to suit.
No alcohol/recreational drugs
No alcohol/recreational drugs are to be taken at least 8 hours prior to your arrival time. The Drop zone Safety Officer has the right to refuse anyone, if we believe them to be an unacceptable risk. You will not be able to jump and you will forfeit the $275.00 booking fee.
What happens if my activity is delayed or cancelled?
If the Parachute4Penrith event is delayed or cancelled due to the weather WestCare Community Services will arrange another jump date which will be advised on the scheduled event date.
What if I get up in the plane and decide I can't jump?
Unfortunately no refund can be given, as all the costs involved are in getting you up there. It doesn't cost anything to come down. But, our experienced instructors are very proficient in coaching people through their nervousness. You'll be amazed at how easy it is when you have someone experienced with you.
Weight
All tandem students will be briefed and their fitness levels will be assessed. Subject to the chief instructor’s approval, persons 95kg and above may be able to jump. 95kg-104kg a surcharge of $55.00 will be applied. 105kg - 114kg a surcharge of $110 will be applied. Special Conditions apply for 115kg and above.115kg - 129kg a surcharge of $165 will be applied. 130kg and above a surcharge of $220 will be applied.

Medical conditions
Medical conditions which could affect your safety should be discussed prior to jump with your doctor. You must not be pregnant, or at high risk of a heart attack.
Under 18 years of age
Persons who are aged 14 years to 18 years require parental /guardian consent. If your parents/guardian is not present on the day please contact us for consent forms, which need to be completed & witnessed by a Justice of the Peace (J.P.)
